If you know what raspberry cordial refers to, then we might just be kindred spirits.  In Anne of Green Gables, Anne says to Diana: “I love bright red drinks, don’t you?  They taste twice as good as any other color.”  True facts.  Alas for poor Anne with an E, currant wine and raspberry cordial are both bright red.  Beware which one you serve at a tea party to your fellow eleven year old.  Oops.  As Anne later explains, “I never thought raspberry cordial would set people drunk, Marilla—not even if they drank three big tumblerfuls as Diana did.”  Hee.  Poor Diana.  Poor Anne.  But lucky us.  In the spirit of my favorite literary character, Anne with an E, and one of my favorite literary moments, I have decided to create this blog.

I plan to post book reviews, but I will also provide essays, character analyses, and more creative content.  This is a place to just geek out and enjoy books—novels of all kinds and genres.  As I create more content, the site will continue to evolve and find its niche.
